The ASEANSAI Training Frameworks highlights ASEANSAI’s continued efforts to support the development of capable, professional, and future-ready Supreme Audit Institutions across the ASEAN region. Developed in line with the ASEANSAI Strategic Plan 2022–2025, particularly its focus on capacity development, this document represents a shared commitment to strengthening people, institutions, and audit quality.
This publication presents an integrated set of frameworks comprising the ASEANSAI Competency Framework, the Competency-Based Learning and Development Framework, and the Coaching and Mentoring Strategy. Together, they provide practical guidance for member SAIs in identifying essential competencies, structuring learning pathways, and expanding development approaches beyond traditional training, drawing on experiential and collaborative learning through the 70-20-10 model.
Grounded in ISSAI 100, ISSAI 150, and relevant INTOSAI GUIDs, the ASEANSAI Training Frameworks offer a flexible reference that member SAIs may adapt to their respective mandates and institutional contexts. By encouraging continuous learning and professional growth, the document supports ASEANSAI’s broader objective of enhancing institutional resilience and promoting high-quality public-sector auditing across the region.
