The <span style=\"font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif; mso-ascii-theme-font: major-latin; mso-hansi-theme-font: major-latin; mso-bidi-theme-font: major-latin;\">Voluntary National Reviews (VNRs)<\/span> are key in tracking and sharing progress toward these goals, fostering lessons learned and encouraging collaboration.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify; line-height: 115%; margin: 6.0pt 0cm 0cm 0cm;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif; mso-ascii-theme-font: major-latin; mso-hansi-theme-font: major-latin; mso-bidi-theme-font: major-latin;\">VNRs provide an essential <span style=\"font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif; mso-ascii-theme-font: major-latin; mso-hansi-theme-font: major-latin; mso-bidi-theme-font: major-latin;\">platform for transparency<\/span> through state-led, inclusive, and evidence-based reviews involving all relevant stakeholders. They facilitate the sharing of challenges and successes in SDGs implementation, contributing to accelerating efforts to achieve the goals by 2030.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify; line-height: 115%; margin: 6.0pt 0cm 0cm 0cm;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif; mso-ascii-theme-font: major-latin; mso-hansi-theme-font: major-latin; mso-bidi-theme-font: major-latin;\">The Audit Board of the Republic of Indonesia, or Badan Pemeriksa Keuangan (BPK)<\/span><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif; mso-ascii-theme-font: major-latin; mso-hansi-theme-font: major-latin; mso-bidi-theme-font: major-latin;\">, reviews Indonesia&#8217;s 2021 VNR and assesses its alignment with the 2017 and 2019 VNRs. This review highlights consistent government efforts but emphasizes the need for ongoing attention to resource sustainability, data relevance, and follow-up on audit recommendations.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify; line-height: 115%; margin: 6.0pt 0cm 0cm 0cm;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif; mso-ascii-theme-font: major-latin; mso-hansi-theme-font: major-latin; mso-bidi-theme-font: major-latin;\">Supreme Audit Institutions (SAIs)<\/span><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif; mso-ascii-theme-font: major-latin; mso-hansi-theme-font: major-latin; mso-bidi-theme-font: major-latin;\"> are pivotal in ensuring VNR accuracy, transparency, and accountability, thus strengthening governance and reducing corruption risks. By validating VNR data and providing follow-up on audit findings, SAIs enhance public trust and governance integrity, making SDGs implementation more effective.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify; line-height: 115%; margin: 6.0pt 0cm 0cm 0cm;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif; mso-ascii-theme-font: major-latin; mso-hansi-theme-font: major-latin; mso-bidi-theme-font: major-latin;\">As of 2023, <span style=\"font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif; mso-ascii-theme-font: major-latin; mso-hansi-theme-font: major-latin; mso-bidi-theme-font: major-latin;\">BPK<\/span> is one of the few ASEANSAI members to have conducted a VNR review, thanks to close collaboration with government agencies. This effort has significantly improved SDGs transparency and accountability, underscoring the importance of continued review efforts in the ASEAN region.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify; line-height: 115%; margin: 6.0pt 0cm 0cm 0cm;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif; mso-ascii-theme-font: major-latin; mso-hansi-theme-font: major-latin; mso-bidi-theme-font: major-latin;\">The <span style=\"font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif; mso-ascii-theme-font: major-latin; mso-hansi-theme-font: major-latin; mso-bidi-theme-font: major-latin;\">ASEANSAI Knowledge Sharing Committee (KSC)<\/span> fosters collaboration among SAIs.
