This event was officially opened through the keynote address and gong thumping by <strong>Dato\u2019 Seri Dr. Wan Azizah Wan Ismail, <\/strong>Deputy Prime Minister of Malaysia.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Series of activities has been organized prior to the Summit, such as Preparatory Meeting held on 4 November 2019 followed by the Donor Coordination Meeting and Technical Meeting on 5 November 2019 led by <strong>Bahtiar Arif<\/strong>, Secretary General the Audit Board of the Republic of Indonesia and Head of ASEANSAI Secretariat<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">During the 5<sup>th<\/sup> ASEANSAI Summit, some ASEANSAI strategic issues are also approved such as Committees\u2019 Report, Revised Rules &amp; Procedures, Upgraded Guideline on Monitoring &amp; Evaluation System, Guideline on Audit of Public Procurement, Appointment Auditor for ASEANSAI Financial Statements, Appointment ASEANSAI Committees 2020 \u2013 2021, Committees\u2019 Work Plans.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.aseansai.org\/2019\/11\/07\/handover-aseansai-chairmanship-at-the-5th-aseansai-summit\/aseansai-way\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-5204\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-5204\" src=\"http:\/\/www.aseansai.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/ASEANSAI-Way-1024x587.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"490\" height=\"218\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">At this opportunity, ASEANSAI invites representative from Office of Auditor General of Norway to made presentation on the importance of the SAI PMF implementation by highlighting the benefits and lessons learned from doing a SAI PMF assessment. ASEANSAI also invites representative from INTOSAI Development Initiative (IDI) to present about IDI\u2019s SDGs Audit Model (ISAM) that supports SAIs in conducting the SDG audits.
