\"\"<\/a>As a part of the 5th<\/sup> ASEANSAI Summit series activities, Donor Coordination Meeting was held on 5 November 2019 in Kuala Lumpur Malaysia. The meeting officially opened by Dato\u2019 Nik Azman\u00a0 Nik Abdul Majid<\/strong>, Auditor General Malaysia as the Host SAI and attended by Chair of Strategic Planning Committee, Knowledge Sharing Committee and Training Committee and also ASEANSAI\u2019s development partners such as Swedish National Audit Office, Office of Auditor General of Norway, INTOSAI Development Initiative (IDI) and World Bank.<\/p>\n

Led by Bahtiar Arif<\/strong> as the Head of ASEANSAI Secretariat, the meeting aimed to discuss the areas of cooperation between ASEANSAI and development partners in order to avoid overlapping activities; to get a better perspective of ASEANSAI\u2019s strategic direction, as well as its projects and activities for 2020 \u2013 2021 and to build relations between ASEANSAI and partners donors as well as give space for networking among development partners.<\/p>\n

Constructive discussions were made during the meeting and the result brought to the discussion at the Technical Meeting which was organized at the same day in the afternoon. Positive follow up from all parties were expected to establish further cooperation in the future in supporting the capacity building and knowledge sharing within the ASEAN Region.<\/p>\n
