Regional Workshop on Enhancing the Roles of Supreme Audit Institutions (SAIs) in Selected ASEAN Countries was successfully held in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam on March 22nd-24th 2016, with the administrative support from State Audit Office of Vietnam (SAV) and Asian Development Bank (ADB).
It was attended by SAI Brunei Darussalam, SAI Bhutan, SAI Cambodia, SAI Indonesia (BPK), SAI Lao PDR, SAI Malaysia, SAI Mongolia, SAI Myanmar, SAI Singapore, SAI Thailand, SAI Philippines, SAI Vietnam, and representative from Asian Development Bank.
The meeting was held with the purpose to enhance the role of SAIs in adapting and implementing International Standards of Supreme Audit Institutions (ISSAIs) as well as to discuss the role of SAIs in combating fraud and corruption. The participant actively discussed and exchanged their views and opinions in the workshop.
